Don't hire someone just so you have a warm body ,and don't hire friends of friends or your friends.
Take the store manager EJ out of the process and it would be much easier.
Maturity tests...they are needed for the managers they c act like cliques in high school

I was interviewed and hired over the phone 600 miles away. I worked one day with that manager and he was fired the next day and they handed me the keys and said "good luck".
If the things that where promise during the interview process where followed through. Like I told the gm I needed the weekends off once my boyfriend went on the road worked just about every weekend up till then. When it was time she told me everyone that asks for weekends off will get cut hours.

They need to be more constructive and upfront than they are! I am retired and just working to stay active. I like working with Dollar General but they need to improve their ideology. Yes this area needs improvement from upper management!
