Dollar General Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They are typically decent human beings

Posted 21 days ago

everything though work experience is amazing

Everyone pulls together to get the job done

I like everyone I work with on the afternoon shift

They work together always willing to help

Boss is great and works with you and thats hard to find

Everyone's nice and polite and eager to help if you run into a problem

They are really nice to me

They are easy to understand and keepa a level head in all circumstances. They encourage us to set goals and. reminds us that we are capable of achieving those goals and they will helo us when we need it. They give 110% and lead by example

Very considerate and just plan great

They do what they can to help but hands are tied like mine

Review from Sales Dept

Helpful and informative helps with learning about the company

My SM has told me that the path to management of your own store is made easy by DG. So opportunity to become a member of the leadership team is most appreciated

They are friendly, knowledgeable and flexible!!

We work hard together and always get our goals accomplished

Review from Sales Dept

You have Some work hour flexibility

I’m part of the leadership team and I try to communicate and work with my co workers. Assisting them whenever need

To continually help one another out.

My ASM and FT/LSA keep our team motivated and positive. But you can see the get very worn down. If they didn't work at my store, I wouldn't either.

They are very polite and professional

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Making sure there are enough hours to schedule so that no one is working by themselves more than 3 hours, there should be manager or assistant manager in the store from open to close if customers need to talk to them , a lead / key carrier shouldn't have to deal with customer complaints, questions

Better scheduling and better training

Understand that no one wants to work 5 days a week getting 28 hours it's not worth the time

Accountability for not following certain procedures.

Positive reinforcement does not exist

Leadership is increasingly losing touch with the SSC employees, but more importantly needs to begin focusing on treating our store employees better.

My Senior Leadership failed to provide clear expectations of role and responsibilities.

work ethics, dress code, professionalizm

Working together better and communicating better with employees

Showing support and backing managers

Don't give store manager positions to people who have no clue what they are doing.

Educating themselves on professionalism and ethics

Alot alot alot alot alot

Not being best friends and treating everyone fairly. Listening to the one's who do all the work and not the ones who just bark orders. Also remembering what is like to be a low bottom before they hit district.

Communication and honesty just to start

Review from Sales Dept

Work together treat each other as a team msmbee

Response to emails and text messages

Review from Operations Dept

First, they dont have any people skilles or respect for their Driver

Not being prejudice based on appearance

No being childish and keep friendship out of leadership
