What's the work from home policy like at Dorsey & Whitney?
Unless you are a attorney, there is no work from home flexibility. If there was, it would be a night/day difference. They need to realize that a employee being treated well, the more positivity and productivity there would be. It's like a work prison, literally!

no culture just work and if you are not working you are looked at by death stares
culture? what culture? you work, work work and if you are luck, you get a check every couple weeks and if you are even luckier, you still have a job - forget the safe environment, it's survival of the fittest

not enough benefits no maternity paid pto is sick and vacation so go to work sick absence from is frowned upon health benefits are the worst you pay so much so make sure you are paid well to make up for paying for your coverage of benefits
not enough, at first when you are hired they make you think that you are getting the best benefits until you get your check and see just how much is taken out for insurance, 401k, cafeteria plan, you barely have enough for groceries, mortgage and gas

at first it is like hey how ya doing and after awhile you avoid all eye contact in fear of big brother watching you and you will get docked visiting too much

DW does not have many outings. Focus is on productivity. Work, no play. Fun is frowned upon. There is a summer picnic usually at a local park and yhere is a christmas dinner that is formal ends after eating. No bonuses, no give aways or recognitions to staff.

Suits and business attire, staff can dress in business casual. In special circumstances, formal business is required.

Yes, but never followed through completely, too busy snapping a whip to keep us working

Look for another job because the honeymoon will soon be over and the monster realism will bare it's fangs at Dorsey. It's a house of horror!

I can't think of any reason Why work for Dorsey Whitney? If you want a paycheck plus work until you are mentally beaten down, feel that your job is threatened then obviously this is for you!

Appropriate, not extensive but at the same time you are getting mentored, everyone continues to work on billable hours. Billables are what is important at Dorsey Whitney

Not very innovative. I think that there is a interest but partners shoot it down
