Mr. Jordan L. Kaplan serves as the Chief Executive Officer, President and a Member of the Board at Douglas Emmett Inc. since 2005. Mr. Kaplan joined Douglas Emmett and Company in 1986. He co-founded Douglas Emmett Realty Advisors and P.L.E. Builders, Inc. in 1991 and served as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Capital Markets Division for all of Douglas Emmett, operating companies since 1991. Since founding DERA, Mr. Kaplan has been responsible for all capital markets transactions including all acquisitions, dispositions and financings. He serves as a Member of International Advisory Board of Hypothekenbank Frankfurt Aktiengesellschaft. Mr. Kaplan received his M.B.A from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1986 and his Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1983.
