DuPont Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Seeing the clients and advising them.

I get to help a good company get better, do work that matters and make a good living in the process.

Challenges and problem solving to get results

My team drive and commitment

My job and my direct manager let me be creative, let me initiate tasks that I feel important and let me generally work at my own pace and space. All that is extremely important for me and being able to work like this makes me very happy.

the environment is clean and friendly

Getting to work on real challenges, at scale!

When the process is running well

when Its time to go home

Not being on redundant conference calls

Every day is a challenge

Review from Operations Dept

Some of the best colleagues I have ever encountered when it comes to business and technical knowledge.

Review from Operations Dept

Review from Operations Dept

Review from Product Dept

Constant challenges. Target rich environment

Review from Engineering Dept

Not sure anymore. Money? I’ve never been motivated by money. As long as I have food, clothing for me and my family I’m good. But as an right now dupont doesn’t offer a lot to look foward to

Review from Product Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Same question but worded different.

Review from Product Dept

Remove CEO and give to someone who wants the company to succeed not just create value for shareholders.

More people are needed to continue growth and prosperity. committing to employees needs should take prescident over shareholders and CEO compensation, otherwise more good people will leave.

Everything about the corporate vision is wrong. How can it be improved? Remove greedy executives like Ed Breen who care only about shareholder value and not about the success of the company, it's employees, or the state of scientific progress.

Review from Engineering Dept

Better management, no more nepotism and equality for all

Review from Business Development Dept

"Elitist" management is disconnected from the problems of production.

Review from Product Dept

Have management practice what they preach.

Review from Product Dept

I need to be given the freedom to do my job and handle my own responsibilities as I have proven I am capable of doing. Being micromanaged everyday, while watching people literally come to work and do nothing, is frustrating and a bit demoralizing

Review from Operations Dept

How about some ownership and leadership.

Review from Operations Dept

Give me back my Retirement! 12 hr. shifts

Review from Operations Dept

fix the equipment so it operates properly, hold all employees to the same standard, make the bonus metrics achievable, increase pay for ccr board operators, and bring back the pension

Review from Operations Dept

All research has been cut. If it's not making money now, it's gone. In a few years when new products are needed we'll be in trouble.

Review from Business Development Dept

The wrong i been working as a contactor for more than a year there's other co-workers that they are been here for up to 10 years as a contactor employee, i believed that we deserve been hire up with DuPont company.

Review from Operations Dept

Turn over and lack of skill

Review from Operations Dept

The enviroment when each meeting is about being discipline instead of being honored. We spend far too much time at work away from family to feel uncomfortable at work. Management needs to take ownership again for bad decisions instead of ridiculing operators.

Review from Operations Dept

Everything is going wrong. Act like adults, be responsible. A good step was finally firing Mike Hatton. He devastated and ruined an entire area.

Review from Operations Dept

Manage the people not the process.

Review from Operations Dept

Hiring stopped 2 years ago, and people left or retired. The company has added responsibility to me because of that. I can't keep up, and hardly got a raise.

Review from Engineering Dept

No sense of urgency. And the quality of the contract team working there is terrible. Brown and root our main contractors their attuide and mind set is poor. And management has them working on 85% of the equipment.

Review from Operations Dept

Was relieved when I no longer worked for the company
