I have been a CNA for 30 years and I am currently going to school to become a RN. The teamwork at Encompass is the best I have experienced throughout my entire career, and they are very supportive when it comes to an individual's growth. I always feel that my voice is heard.
Wonderful and very rewarding joy
First off, nobody works for free. That being said, Encompass is a company that pays very well compared to other companies out there. The company is also pretty relaxed with opportunities for growth as long as you make your interest known. I've been with the company almost 10yrs now and enjoy it.

I have not seen any promotions since being an employee. The typical recognition goes to the "inner circle".

Good because quality care is given within the hospital. It's the few bad apples that taint the daily routine.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at HealthSouth?
Slightly.

Very little, expcept in situations of providing reasoning for bed shortages and inappropriate denials.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining HealthSouth?
Useless documentation of marketing calls.
What's the office layout like at HealthSouth?
Stuffy, no trust, back stabbing for ones own agenda.
What's the vibe like in the Marketing dept at HealthSouth? How many hours are you working?
8-10/hr days with seldom days of offsetting by being allowed to take half days or leave early.
What's the Marketing team like at HealthSouth?
There are those who work 10-12 hour days and then there are some who play for 4 hours and work for 4 hours which is noticiable in their referrals acquired.
