Most staff are pleasant with each other and I believe they truly want to help the patients get better.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing I did something productive with my day that helped other people. Interacting with my supervisor who is appreciative of my work.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that I interviewed with my direct supervisor and his direct supervisor so we would all be on the same page.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our CEO has passion and compassion since she came from the nursing staff CNO position. The rest do whatever is best for "the numbers".
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My 18 year old daughter who just graduated high schools first job as a receptionist in town pays more than I make after 3 years in Purchasing/Supply. We get the same evaluations every year that really have nothing to do with raises. Raises are standard 2-3% based on a budget.
