Very empathetic and understanding but
Life aside from kpi's, the service they want us to provide cannot happen when we are treated as robots not human beings

Does encore drug test or do a background check?
Yes to drug test. Pretty sure they do background checks too, but I cant remember.

How's the vacation policy at encore?
pretty solid. it's easy to get time off
Each year every FT employee has 48 hours of Personal/Sick time, 32 hours of Floating Holiday time, and Vacation hours dependent on years of service: <1 year - 40 hours 1-4 years - 80 hours 5-9 years - 120 hours 10+ years - 160 hours All paid time off requests must be submitted to one's supervisor and approval policies may vary. Some locations may inact blackout dates during seasonally busy periods. All PTO hours expire at the end of the calendar year.
What's the office vibe like at encore?

It depends on your role and the hotel where you're mainly working. Hotels with a lot of business have a few techs at different levels, so you've got to navigate different personalities but can also learn a lot from everyone's different experiences. Smaller hotels may only have one tech or use part-timers or get techs from other properties when there are bigger events, so you might not have as much interaction with people at your same level.
