There are some leaders that do seem to listen although there is little one can do in terms of feedback when there is something one disagrees or thinks could be done better.

Enova is a strange place in that many of the managers and executives are great people, yet the company as whole is not so great a place to work. Also, they are not particularly people oriented. It is more about the bottom line.

Our leadership is business focused, but genuinely seems to care about their employees too. They have open door policies and are usually very familiar with projects people in their department are working on.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Enova pays competitive salaries and benefits. Main reason I am still at the company.

bonuses are the best part

They pay market rates and their packages are not bad.

Enova's compensation package varies based on your role. Depending on your level, you could receive an annual bonus (based on individual and company goals), and company RSUs. Contact Center reps receive a monthly performance bonus.

I know that certain individuals who hold a title lower than mine are either getting paid more or equally to me, which isn't fair.

They all try to make the best of situations and stay positive

My team is full of smart people who are passionate about the work we do. It's clear they're excited about their work because it's so high quality and I feel like I'm always learning from them.

Super smart, friendly, dedicated, committed.

I love working with the engineers at eSpark. They truly are some of the best in the city.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I think there is overall a positive sentiment because the corporate chicago employees are treated well

Most of the front line workers and low management levels are great, smart, people. However, on the rare times one bumps into toxic people or groups there is zero way to report them or provide feedback to anyone about them.

Enova employees typically enjoy a great work/life balance. It's rare someone is in the office after 5pm and leaders understand we all have lives outside of work.

Work life balance at all times.

Small company, everyone knows everyone, but doesn't suffer from some of the monoculture you see at other startups. Everyone is supportive.
