Everyone is very nice and they all seem to care about their people.
My leadership team is very supportive and communicative about sharing insights about the industry to ensure my success in learning both a new industry and role.
Their ability to inspire and support their team effectively.
The leadership team supports individuals at every level. You feel valued, not only as an employee, but also as a person. It is very empowering.
I've only been here a few weeks but I'm very happy. My supervisors are clear about goals and answer my questions and offer guidance.
Provide bigger and better raises along with actual bonuses. The amount of work that goes into this job, once broken down by hours and projects spent, is equivalent to getting a job in a warehouse of fast food location.
Communication has always been lacking. The leadership team needs to be more transparent and open about the every day decisions.
I don't know the leadership team
The volunteer and floating holidays are a great and inclusive addition.
I think the best is our medical insurance
Salary is competitive, benefits are good
The opportunity to earn merit-based bonuses.
I'm still kind of new so I haven't tested everything out, but I'm happy with the insurance plans, the 401k, internet stipend, and other options. Plus the pay is good.
I don't feel undervalued as a person, but perhaps in terms of what I can contribute to the team.
Really would like to see 401k matching
Essentially, I earned more doing less of a job 20 years ago
I do feel undervalued at times, mostly due to lack of fiscal recognition when my job has changed and required much more. I also strongly feel let down year after year when we don't receive a monetary bonus. The blankets and treats are nice but I'd much rather receive money.
I think I am underpaid for my position and for the contributions I make to my brand.
They communicate in the best possible way, clear and consistent
Everyone's very support and open to answering questions.
Easygoing, collaborative, flexible and helpful
People have eachothers' backs and there is a lot of willingness to mentor and support.
Everyone seems helpful, patient, invested, and informed about the company and the product.
There can be a sense of lack of patience with the newness of my position and the learning curve in understanding a new industry. This does not apply to my leadership but rather other members of the team.
My coworkers are not collaborative, selfish, stuck in their ways, averse to any change even if it means improving the brand and some are pretty unprofessional and don't seem to care much.
There are great initiatives to get involved with the broader team.
Even when we are abroad, they always try to make us comfortable and part of the team
Flexible schedule and work from home. No micromanagement, people are treated as responsible adults and everyone works really well with each other
People of all different ages and experience levels working together and learning from eachother. Great comradery.
I really like that everyone seems invested and there's a nice amount of organization. If I have a question, it's answered quickly. The newer employees seem very happy, and there are several people who've been here many years, which I take to be a very good sign. It's not one good thing, but several.

Contributing ideas or support that helps my team
I am really enjoying learning about this new industry and working alongside the editorial team.
I feel part of the company and I love what I do at EIQ
Celebrating the achievements of our audience.
I like the work I'm doing. It's interesting. The pace is good. I'm not bored. But conversely I'm not stressed. Plus my peers and supervisors answer questions I might have, communicate clearly, and I feel like I've had (and am still getting) a lot of great guidance to do my job.
I HATE using Google for email. It is an absolute mess of an email/system. It's cheap & inefficient. HATE our outdated CMS. Our digital editions don't even have HTML. I have to copy & paste stories from the PDF digital edition onto the site. Outdated, inefficient stuff like this adds HOURS to my day
On the editorial side, sometimes the goals of the company--making money--do not align with good editorial standards.
Emails/chats to handle have increased tremendously the last 2 years. I feel I have to be available right away and answering questions ASAP, regardless of my priorities. It is really overwhelming. It takes more time. I feel I'm not moving as fast as I could because I'm constantly interrupted
Too many meltdowns and pieces of management that are too far removed or don't care.
Nothing is going wrong, but work is not something I'd consider to be exciting.
