Beginning a new job during a pandemic and quarantine was difficult, but there are a lot of HR practices in place to connect employees and make it feel less isolating. Monthly meetings about how the compay is doing also helps us feel connected and like we are all working toward common goals.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That is collaborative and has the ability to pivot quickly when things aren't working or could be done better.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like being dependend upon to pull my weight and help others achieve their goals. I also like the ability to be creative.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay is good, and the ability to earn raises and bonus' is great. I do wish it was a bit higher (like everyone probably does).
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The fact that they are accessible. I don't feel intimidated if I would need to reach out to anyone at the top of our company and we have a very collaborative culture.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My boss is the best boss I've ever had. He is very positive and driven and I think that trickles through the rest of the team. Everyone working toward a common goal and noone wanting to disappoint anyone else.
