Overall, Everlight is a great company to work for when you're young and learning. You are encouraged to develop and grow. I was VERY happy at first.

My team is great, they are energetic and positive about work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The work culture is good! Having such a connected environment supports all the remote workers and brings everyone together.

You can tell the team has been hand picked to do these jobs. My co workers light up my day and make my job not feel like a job. They are always there to help with anything
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For employees who work hard, do more than whats outlined, live the company values, there needs to be more pay, they are benefiting by having the majority of employees contracted, so reward those who have proven they are committed.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leaders seem to lead by a script handed down to them by the executives. They pride themselves on friendly check-ins but when it comes to workplaces matters, there is a lack of communication and what you do get is vague.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our company culture is the main reason work doesnt feel like work. We have fitness groups, book club, and more and made possible by an amazing culture of family and closeness. everyone cares about one another. we celebrate bdays, engagements, new borns, family time
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel most happy at work when I feel like I have a purpose. When my team lead is open and honest with me and the rest of the team. When I feel like the projects I'm working on mean something and are not just busy work.

Having our daily check ins with my team, they light my day up and always have a laugh. jokes and sharing things weve done. it really just feels like a catch up with friends. when we discuss what we are working on for day, everyone is excited and ready to help if needed

The leadership team is very hands on. they know what each dept needs to be successful b/c they’ve been there. They make sure we know they are normal people & are here for us When they say they want to see us grow, they mean it. & it feels really empowering & special to have executives like tha
