The work environment and people are fantastic! I'm just not sure how much the company cares about retaining it's people. They are fine with just re-hiring young people every year.

Interacting with my co-workers and problem solving.

The energy. It encourages everyone to be themselves at work.

Again the energy. It feels like everyone can be themselves at work.

Becoming more confident in my role and seeing my coworkers become more confident as well.

Everyone helps one another; no one says "that not my job." We are truly a team.

Everyone has each others backs. We have a common goal and truly care about reaching it together.

Again, everyone can be their full selves at work. These are people I wouldn't mind interacting with outside of work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The salaries for all our roles are well under the national average. They should at a least be equal to the average.

They are real people who bring their real personalities out and therefore allow others to do this same. This is a fun place to work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
While the company does such a great job of creating an awesome environment, it's clear that retention is not their priority. Starting salary probably isn't even half of the national average.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all care about each other on a personal and work level. Everyone seems genuinely interested in each others lives and wellbeing. If someone's workload is overwhelming, we never hesitate to hop in and give them a hand.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The team interactions. We get to know everyone in a fun way so that meetings are never boring or awkward. Also everyone wants to do their best. We push each other to be the best and do our best.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with my team is always great! Also, this is going to sound a little odd, but when I mess up. My leader is always there to work with me through it, game plan, and then make sure it doesn't happen again. Getting better is addicting.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The best part about Everlight's leadership team is that they don't pretend not to be human beings. There is a professional, "we're going to get this shit done" attitude, but also room for jokes and social interaction. Personal growth is at the forefront of all of this.
