I love this company, and I love working here. The only reasons I wouldn't recommend a job here to others is that most people in my personal life aren't looking for work in this industry, and that the compensation package might not be rewarding enough to draw them in!
What are some of the best things about your team?
By far the culture. I feel like we're all friends and can chat about anything, but we're also supportive and challenge each other.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'd like to be earning a more competitive salary given the years I've been working here. I'd also like benefits like 401k matching and/or healthcare.
What makes you most happy at work?
It makes me happy to know that I agree with everything this company stands for, and that all my coworkers don't hold back when challenging the environment to be the best it can be.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is amazing. There's this perfect balance of different personalities working together cohesively! The recruitment team does a great job of placing everyone who belongs at Everlight on the teams they're most likely to thrive in.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all hold similar values and center growth in our day to day lives. Everyone is so encouraging of each other! I genuinely feel like I could be friends with anyone who works here, and simultaneously feel healthy pressure to do my best work. The support is immaculate!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I've been able to work hard and prove my worth, and I've been rewarded for that! However, there's still quite a bit to be improved. I honestly still feel so in the dark about how taxes, healthcare, and 1099 stuff works. I'd love to be a little more taken care of in that area!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I feel heard! They take the time to speak with their employees on the same level, without making us feel like we need to filter our thoughts. Everyone here is a friends who I deeply respect and look up to, who challenges me to grow and become the best I can be. That starts in leadership!
