Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

It's not bad if you're looking to transition careers or just need something to get by, but be aware that the pay, benefits, time off policy, and work/life expectations can be deal breakers for most (very low logistical care for very high output and performance).

What makes you most happy at work?

The people and my team.

What makes you most happy at work?

Being able to stay on top of tasks and that coworkers are easy to talk to.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They try to keep the work environment casual since any given job itself can be really stressful.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone is welcoming, kind, and open about their questions along with what they're grateful for. Overall it seems that most members are approachable.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Actual competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. They say we are full time regular employees, yet we are treated like contractors with low pay.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Reimbursing extra costs such as bookclub, mailing materials (dependent on role), etc. Communicating expectations amongst whole team instead of just individuals, causing unfair treatment.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The people are typically the make or break of a company culture. The benefits and HR items are really sub-par, but the people and day-to-day interactions help to lessen the burden of low pay.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The work itself is incredibly intensive and working schedule can vary at a moment's notice. Given the severe under-market-value compensation and lackluster benefits options, it would be in leadership's interest to pay everyone at least at competitive market value.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel that the workload, expectations, and goals/numbers we must achieve are for paygrades way above the range that most roles at this company is offered. There is limited opportunity for raises and promotions are very vague. It'd be amazing if Everlight paid for benefit premiums and offerings.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Specifically on a non-exec/leadership level, everyone is very kind and willing to help each other even if they don't know all the answers. Definitely feel that "we never say that's not my job" core value is displayed amongst the regular level tier (questionable the higher up the ranks you go though)
