Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Working at Everlight isn't for everyone, but if you're an extremely hard worker with a positive attitude who just wants to succeed + help others succeed, this is the jackpot! Even on my hardest days, I am still grateful to work for this company and can't believe how lucky I am to have found it.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with my team, learning/mastering new things, knowing how deeply supportive my team lead is of me!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team works incredibly hard, cares about their contributions to the company, and genuinely lifts each other up!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyones attitudes are contagious, there is no badmouthing or venting, which is so important for keeping good morale.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The salary is decent for a remote job and the healthcare/benefits package is such a great thing to have.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting/developing relationships with my fellow leads, as well as coaching my direct reports and truly being able to help others.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The communication from Everlight Leadership is unmatched by any other company. They also actually care about you as a person, inside and outside of work!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The camaraderie and support is something I've never experienced in a company. Leads and Execs encourage openness, willingness to learn, and a super fun/exciting work environment for everyone!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The execs and leadership tram genuinely listens to our concerns and suggestions as employees and inplement incentives and events that show how much they truly care for us as people!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone on the team gives 100% of their effort, all the time. Everybody just wants to see each other succeed and will always do their part (and sometimes other people's parts!) in order to make it happen and succeed as a team!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe that yearly raises are extremely important, and the fact that we need to ask for them/don't necessarily get them when we do ask can be very discouraging, especially as a lead when you are putting in many overtime hours throughout the year with no overtime pay.
