Ms. Claire Shoen serves as Market President at Evolent Health, Inc. Ms. Shoen is responsible for the development and ongoing management of Evolent's West Coast partners. She has twenty years of experience in business development, network development and management, product development, medical group management, IPA management and hospital executive leadership. She has extensive experience in all aspects of managed care operations and most recently, accountable care organizations (ACOs). She has deep breadth and depth of experience in leading large revenue initiatives for different provider models, including developing collaborative channels and designing physician alignment strategies. She served as Vice President of Contracting & Network Management at Brown & Toland Medical Group, Inc. Ms. Shoen joined Brown & Toland in January 2012. She previously served as Executive Vice President of Business Development and Physician Relations for the ValleyCare Health System and Chief Executive Officer for the ValleyCare Medical Foundation in Pleasanton, Calif. She has worked at such organizations as the San Francisco Medical Group, Sutter Health, Dignity Health, Summit Medical Center, San Rafael Medical Group, Catholic Healthcare West and Sutter Physician Services. She holds a BA in Psychology and Humanities from Scripps College in Claremont, Calif., and a Master of Business Administration in Health Services Administration from Golden Gate University.
