Mr. Ryan Smith serves as a Market President of Evolent Health, Inc. Mr. Smith oversees operations for partner health systems in the Southeast. He has worked in strategic and operations leadership positions for the past 15 years. Immediately prior to joining Evolent, he led the Total Health and Network Operating Effectiveness team at Cigna, overseeing operational and strategic initiatives across population health and network divisions. His leadership experience spans medical, behavioral and dental lines of business and has held positions in network, service operations, finance planning and analysis and medical economics. Mr. Smith earned a BS in Finance and Economics from Charleston Southern University and an MBA from Nova University. He also is Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt certified.
