Collaboration; everybody pulls together in the same direction.

Everyone is smart, people are friendly and genuinely get along. Many people are friends outside of work.
Factual creates a fun culture with company events and happy hours. I've become good friends with many co-workers because they are the type of people I like to surround myself with both at work and outside of work

Our culture promotes continuous improvement and reflection - I regularly see us re-examining our processes and approaches and a willingness to try something new, even if might fail.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership is not very personable. Product creates things in a silo. No one seems to talk to each other.

The culture and environment and the people!
The potential for the company to make really big waves. I also have control over a lot of my work and am not told how to perform at work in order to achieve the results--it is definitely a self-starter company that requires internal motivation to succeed and I really enjoy that aspect

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Factual is vulnerable to bad ideas and/or sloppiness; it takes a long time to self-correct. We do a poor job of mentally placing ourselves with respect to our competitors and lack a sense of direction.
