Age requirement and locationYou must be at least 18 years of age (21+ in Massachusetts and Iowa, 19+ in Alabama) as well as a resident of and physically located in the United States or Canada to make a deposit in any FanDuel contests with an entry fee or prize. You may not deposit while physically located in any of the following states: Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, or Washington.
Card informationMake sure the name, card number, expiration date, security code, and state/zip code all match the account information associated with your card. We do not accept American Express through our direct processor. You can only use American Express through PayPal.
Bank restrictionsOne of the most common reasons for a declined deposit is a bank temporarily restricting online transactions. A quick phone call to your bank should help clear this up and have your online restriction lifted.
Gift card restrictionsAgain, if youre using a gift/prepaid card, some banks associated with the card may decline payments to fantasy sports sites. We suggest the following:
Register the gift card as instructed on the back of the card.
Deposit slightly less than the balance on the card.
If depositing from Canada, be sure to take the exchange rate into account.
Ifyou'vetried the above and are still having issues, please try PayPals checkout feature by choosing PayPal from the Add Funds page. You do not need a PayPal account to use this feature, but PayPal accounts are free to set up and use.

View ArticleYes, you can edit any lineup prior to the scheduled start time of the contest. To edit, go to the upcoming tab and click on a specific contest to edit your lineup.
For contests that do not offer late swap, like NBA, all edits will be final at the scheduled start time of the first game of the slate. That means no more entries and no more lineup changes.
If a contest offers late swap, users can edit their players right until their individual games start, so youdon'thave to worry about late news affecting your lineup. Using late swap is easy. Just follow the simple steps below:
Identify a late swap contest with the unlocked padlock icon. Then set your lineup.
Once your slate begins, find your lineup in the live screen. When a players individual game has started, his spot in your lineup will be locked. But all other players are eligible to be changed until their individual game start, so if anything happens to affect if or how much theyll play (like a late scratch or bad storm) before game start, you can make the change.
To make changes, first select the Edit button, and then choose the player you want to swap. Youll see a list of players eligible to be chosen. Pick the player you want to substitute into your lineup, and then save your revised team. Just be sure to stay under the salary cap!
Please keep in mind that normal editing rules apply. You can select up to four players from one team, must select layers from at least three different teams, and cannot exceed the salary cap. Additionally, you cannot swap for a player after their game has started.

View ArticleMost big contests have guaranteed prizes, meaning theyll run as planned regardless of if they fill or not. But if a contests prize pool is not guaranteed, there are some requirements for it to run with prizes as planned.
If a public contest with a prize pool thatisn'tguaranteed doesn't fill all of the open entries, the contest becomes free, the entry fees are refunded, and the contest runs without prizes. If you're playing in a private contest that doesn't fill, it may still reward prizes if it meets the following criteria: - Set for five (5) or more total entries spots- At least 80% of the spots must be filled - The contest has an entry fee of $25 or less If your contest meets these requirements, it will pay out prizes. If your private contest does not fill and does not meet these criteria, the contest will run as a free game, and all entry fees are returned to the users' accounts.
View ArticleWhether you want to win big or play another user head-to-head, weve got something for you. Find the following contest types in the lobby.
TournamentsHigh-paying contests with guaranteed prize pools. We offer single and multi-entry tournaments, which have guaranteed prize pools so theydon'tneed to fill in order to run.
Beat the ScoreIn a Beat the Score contest, youdon'thave to worry about finishing in first. Just hit the target score, and youll split the entire payout with everyone else who wins. Different contests have different scores to beat, so you can choose your level of difficulty.
MultipliersThese contests give you the opportunity to win double, triple, or quadruple your entry fee.
Head to HeadsIn these winner-take-all contests, you'veonly got one entry to beat. Compete against a single opponent and compete head-to-head. You can create a private head-to-head contest for you and a friend, or create/join a public head-to-head contest that appears in the lobby and any FanDuel user can play.
3-100 PlayerCompete against fewer players; multiple payout structures.
50/50sIn a 50/50 contest, if you finish in the top half of the leaderboard, you win a prize! Every user that finishes in the top half of the leaderboard receives the same prize, unless there is a tie. In this case, entries would split the value of each winning spot. 50/50s do not have a guaranteed prize pool, so they need to fill to capacity in order to run.

View ArticleCreating a duplicate account is in violation of FanDuels Terms, so you should not create a second account. Doing so could jeopardize your ability to play on FanDuel.
FanDuel has collaborated with lawmakers and regulators across the country to pass fantasy sports legislation that protects consumers and ensures fantasy sports providers are offering fair and fun contests. Included in those consumer protections is the requirement that users may only establish one account on a daily fantasy sports site. This regulation exists to protect our users and the integrity of our contests from those that seek to gain an unfair competitive advantage.
If FanDuel determines that you are operating multiple accounts, you will receive a message that your secondary account(s) has been disabled. You will then be prompted to log back into your primary account. If you have difficulty accessing your primary account, our Customer Support Team can assist you. FanDuel will then investigate the activity on both accounts to determine whether the creation of a multiple account was an inadvertent mistake (such as forgetting your password) and did not result in an improper advantage. If we determine you made a good faith mistake, we allow you to retain your primary account and continue play. However, we do suspend the secondary account to ensure you only have one active account and refund your deposits to the extent you have funds remaining. Users who create multiple accounts to gain an improper advantage are banned from future play on our site. In such cases, FanDuel revokes any winnings earned on these multiple accounts. FanDuel does not keep the revoked winnings; instead, they are re-distributed to other eligible users in affected contests or given away as prizes in freeroll contests.

Entry Limits for Each Contest
All contests have limits on the maximum number of entries that a single user may submit. These limits will be specified in the description of each contest. However, under no circumstances will you be allowed to submit multiple entries exceeding 3% of the total entries for contests with 2 to 4999 entries or 150 entries for contests with 5000 or more entries.
