Fannie Mae Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Working with team and learning new technologies

Flexibility and freedom to do my work and do it to the best of my ability.

Review from HR Dept

Work from home flexibility and half days on Fridays.

Anticipating the needs of my coworkers and our clients and delivering on those needs before they are known. My coworkers are the best.

I like days with fewer meetings.

Being respected for my knowledge

Vacation and flex work schedule

My team and my internal clients

Review from HR Dept

Work life balance and other benefits

Review from HR Dept

The people - my team, my manager, and my internal clients and partners

Review from HR Dept

The people and projects are great

Being empowered, owning my work, and receiving constructive feedback and career mentorship that demonstrates my manager is invested in my growth

Getting appreciated for the work we do and getting the recognition from everyone and seeing how we impact/help our customers.

See the people I work with and getting along with others

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Hugh Frater and Dave Benson are bad leaders.

VPs promote Directors that don’t challenge them and have mediocre performance. Directors are simply a pass through from VPs to Manager

Still significant bureaucracy, decision making taken at senior management level instead of being pushed down.

What do you like best about your company?

Company is very stable in terms of revenue stream.

The learning environment

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

Value employees and incentivize them to grow. Get rid of the waste and be less risk averse.
