Farmers Insurance Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Nothing. They say one thing, then say the complete opposite a month later. Its the wild wild west

So far so good im excited to start

focused on the future of the company

Review from Sales Dept

We have a refreshed leadership team and are starting to see our company strategy come to light.

Innovative team and supportive leaders

focused on growth and agency

Theyre fairly responsive for a Fortune 500 Company. They sometimes even give non-sugarcoated answers. Thats rare

Intelligent, innovative, determined, focused, driven

Nothing it was terrible. They dont care about employees wellbeing

They do what's best for the company regardless of perception or pressure.

Review from Operations Dept

Focus on innovation and the future.

Farmers is a great company.

Review from HR Dept

I really appreciate the transparency and frequency in communication

Review from HR Dept

They do not micro-manage us

Review from IT Dept

They communicate, assist, and go all in when you need them.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Best law job I've ever had! Great collegial environment, wonderful manager, interesting work!

Review from Legal Dept

Senior leaders are committed to the success of the company. I have never worked for a company where leaders work just as hard alongside their staff.

Review from HR Dept

they have a finger on the pulse of the department and are engage with bonding our units

The leadership team is honest, transparent, and passionate about the work the company does.

They are growing every day to be the best.

Review from Customer Support Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Do what is right for agents.

Careful execution of well thought out processes and decision making.

Build trust, reduce political tension, clearly communicate the vision.

Help the agents. They never advocate for the agents.

Leadership needs to communicate better with their employees, be honest about the problems that exist, and be open to actual solutions from the people who are on the ground floor.

Knowledge and training. I believe in order to run a large corporation the right leadership team should be put in place, and should be reprimanded when they do not take accountability for their lack of leadership and what it stands for.

Being supportive while finding ways to help the employee succeed. On this current path its being perceived as the representatives are setup to fair due to lack of support.

Keep promise to allow remote work.

Review from Operations Dept

LISTEN TO THERE EMPLOYEES PLEASE

Review from Admin Dept

Our new CEO has proven that he does not care about his employees, he only cares about money. He is forcing the vast majority to go back to office buildings 3 days a week, when most people do not want this move. He does not care what the majority say, only his edict over our lives!

Review from Customer Support Dept

taking constructive criticsim. valuing their employees, listening to employees wants/needs, changed terms and conditions of employees roles/job description to better fit the company and in turn hurting thousands of employees in the middle of what feels like a recession. pay for employees os terrible

Review from Operations Dept

CEO announced out of the blue that nearly all employees are being forced back into the office. No legitimate explanation or reason has been given, despite the most unanimous outcry of any issue I've seen since I've been here. Farmers used to be a great place to work under the previous CEO.

Review from IT Dept

Where to even start. Twenty-two years with this company, and I have never felt more unheard of and unimportant. Last week the company announced going back into the office, after promising this would never happen. After 500+ employees voiced concerns, we were basically told "too bad."

Review from Operations Dept

This CEO has completely lost our trust when he went back on the company's decision to designate certain employees as remote/virtual. We are now being called to work from an office 3x wk even if we were not office employees before covid. The trust is broken and many employees will leave

Review from Operations Dept

Communication. Tact. Work Life Balance. Integrity. Honesty. Humility.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The leadership team, including CEO Raul Vargas, does not care about their employees. One of the best companies I've worked for (so I thought) has quickly turned into a company I do not trust with ANYTHING they tell us anymore.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Listening to its Agents... Communication is awful, technology is worse. Leadership is non existent, mid level is non existent, Agents leaving every single day

Review from Operations Dept

They should be more consistent when transitioning from training to the floor, and when one is put on another team, the next lead should be able to be seamlessly provide similar support, and understand where one requires more skill. Be more human.

The leadership is jaded. I was not paid properly for the job I was doing. Leadership is inconsistent. After training, my team leader stood by while I was asking for her support, and said I was not a good fit. New shift = new lead 18 months was great; reassigned to a new team & 8 months later I quit.

Review from Customer Support Dept

More concerned about pushing employees to the point of breaking down from overwhelming stress instead of hiring the amount of people needed to handle the claims. They pretty typically have a class in training but it's terrible training and half of them quit once they're put on live claims
