I have been with Freight since the beginning of FedEx Freight. At the beginning hourly & center management got bonuses yearly. When they combined Freight earnings with the rest of FedEx after a few years the bonuses were random. They finally stopped punishing Freight employees for other parts of the company’s poor achievements & the hourly got their bi-yearly bonuses back with few missed opportunities. Center leadership isn’t so lucky. There have been too many years that we didn’t receive anything even if your centers numbers were excellent. Hourly can get 2 per year but management can only get 1 per year. I speak only for Freight. I read the above comments about never getting a bonus. I assume those folks were with Ground or Express. I’m confident to say that if hourly didn’t get a bonus neither did management at any part of FedEx.
AIC, is based on % of your annual income, depending on your pay grade/level will determine that percentage. The company annually announces the level of AIC that will be paid so think a % of your % say you make 100K and your AIC level is 9% so the bonus potential is 9K then the company announces that the AIC percentage paid out will be 50% so your bonus would be $4500
Drivers receive a bonus twice a year; 2% is the least I have received, and 4% is the most. This is based on a driver’s total income of the previous 6 months; for me, that means $750’ish on the low side, and $1500’ish on the high side.
Hourly employees almost always get their bonuses at FedEx freight. However, frontline management are consistently disrespected by the company. If looking for a career go anywhere but freight, XPO starts at nearly the salary of a supervisor with 20+ years of service.
There is an annual incentive program that is typically a percentage of your base salary. It starts around 3% for entry-level, and then gradually increases, I believe it is 15% for managers. Not sure what it is at higher levels.
After 20 years on the job I can say that bonuses are not given to the hourly employees. We do however recieve a candy bar around christmas time, so I guess that's something.
Not to the workers to the managers only of because of the hard working employees .thats is not right .we work hard and get abuse from mangers in words .
The managers receive annual payouts. The percentage is based on their goals and what they achieve and their salary. Front line employees do not get bonuses.
I work at FedEx frieght and am hourly dock worker and we get a bonus twice a year not sure how it’s calculated tho
FedEx Freight employees receive bonuses across the board. I do not know the metrics other than it happens twice a year.
Was supposed to get a bonus at the end of the year but my boss is avoiding me anytime I ask
I haven't received any bonuses, but I understand that Management does.
