Inclusivity. Welcoming. Open communication. Trust in management.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Sense of humor. Some days you just need a good laugh. Everyone seems so happy to be here. We all have bad days and sometimes share our struggles with everyone else, but I feel overall that communications between teammates are positive.
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel the job I am doing is helping animals. I feel like the work I'm asked to do is for a fair wage. It is challenging work but not overwhelming and I am able to achieve and even surpass my goals, making me feel successful at the end of the day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Communication. Town halls, emails and the channel on slack keep everyone up to date and involved on the company's progress and innovations. Everyone I have met on the leadership team is personable and this helps me feel like I am part of a close knit team even when we don't share office space.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Incentives. These have really changed my life financially in a good way. Without them I may have had to take on a second part time job. I am hoping to sign up for health insurance after seeing the new plans for 2023. I'm glad HR recognized there was room for improvement and looked into it.
