Total failure of leadership starting from the very top down to RM. Broken ,or at the very best, sub-standard IT processes have bkstr mgmt looking highly incompetent and ineffective. Vendors not paid. HR an awful joke. Daily, go to work to FAIL! This is an embarrassing job. Hope new owners can fix!
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Hopefully change in currently happening with new PE group as new owners. But PE groups are driven solely by profit, so just wait & watch.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
1st, invest in a quality HR department that actually hires HUMANS. Then, hire qualified HR HUMANS. An HR department with integrity and shows understanding & respect for State Labor Laws. Hated being a part of this questionable behavior! Labor laws need to be followed!!!
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leading! Before follett's most recent failure, sale to PE group, there was no quality leadership! didn't even know if/who CEO was. Lots of big shot VP's working from home in their shorts drinking hard lemonade calling themselves leaders. FYI...publishers refuse to ship books due to lack of payment!
