Food lion Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I loved the vacation, pto, and sick time but never really got to enjiy them

Good good good flood good

i really dint know dude

benefits at a reasonable cost

not aviable to answer question

The hourly wage was good

Bonus and our insurance package

Insurance, stock, 401k match and benefits

Vacation and leave, followed by medical then retirement planning

im not sure what that is

I really enjoyed the conversation package

I get paid pretty well but Im still under paid for my experience

Review from Operations Dept

my 401k the big saving i get

I am very happy with my whole package.

The 401 k match for part time

The organization assisted in relocating my family for my new role. Thank you!

Review from Operations Dept

Food Lion offers a variety of benefits for my family. I love the vacations

My salary is commensurate with my experience. Nice short term and long term bonus package.

Review from HR Dept

The best part of the compensation package is everything was provided clearly when an offer was extended and I knew what to expect when accepting an opportunity.

The best part of my compensation package is that it was presented clearly when an original offer was extended.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better pay and discounts would be nice.

Tons of overwork and underpay

Yall only offer part time cashier with not benefits.

I don't get any benefits for part time work

Knowledge gets unnoticed and unaprreciated.

Better insurance n more incentives like monthly people who dodnt call out should get something

I just want everyone to be treated the same

People cannot live off what they are paid. Don't get any kind of discount of shopping at their own store. With this inflation, definitely underpaid

Management purposefully talks about people behind their backs and to other coworkers causing a hostile environment

Well personally at the moment iam part time but im excelling at my job and am supposed to be getting raise bc i dont beleive we have a fool time position for my department and depending on the raise and all tbat will determine how i fell towards the following question

I had no clue what I was making I have 20yrs cust ser experience I was thinking 15 but was given 13 with no room for questions

Pays us more...we do so much

I don't feel I am undervalued, I know for a fact that I am. My store manager and assistant store manager showed me that by allowing the deli assistant manager to lie about me to them and just believing it instead of checking with me first. I also know that I am making less on the hour than new hires

Doing a 2 person job by myself. Over expectations for an 8 hour shift. 400 piece truck divided by 35 per hr is 11.5 hrs. Then Milk and eggs twice. Both given an hr per. Is basically a 15 hr shift in 8 hours

Review from Product Dept

Getting more hours. And not feeling like im on the chopping block when I'm sick or feeling like my hours for the next week will be cut due to sickness.

They make everyone feel undervalued. When a manager talks about people and calls them inappropriate names right in front of them. Then proceeds to throw their "6 figure" salary in their face, who would geek valued

The company needs to be shut down

I have worked my butt off for this company for 4 years and I believe I deserve to be making more money than I currently do

Because I was over looked for a lead position and wasn't even given a chance to show I could do it. I applied for that position 2 times and was hired as part time when I applied for full time lead. I am beimg put in another department where everyone that works it makes more than I do to do that job

People need more money cuz a lot of people have kids and $12 an hour is not enough
