What's the company culture like at Forter?
Encourages innovation - if you have an idea, bring it up, and you'll usually be encouraged to try it out. If it doesn't work, you see what you can learn from that, and move on. If it does work, you get to see where you can take it next.
At Forter, no matter how smart you are (and you are), you have to love working with other people in order to succeed. The work, as well as the environment, is extremely collaborative, and we pride ourselves in our incredible teamwork. Besides that we believe in transparancy and open communication, we work hard, we give great service, and we try not to take ourselves too seriously, as you can see at www.forkerlabs.com.

What are some of the best things about your team at Forter?
Top Employee Response
Awesome sense of humor, very helpful, super smart
Creative, passionate, and never see a problem without diving into how to fix it.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Forter?
Top Employee Response
Manage the "astronaut effect" better - just because you have a team that will volunteer to make impossible things happen to crazy deadlines doesn't mean you should always let them do that.
What do people at Forter think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Great guy with real vision. Used to be bad at transparency but he's really been working on that and it's improved a lot.
How's the work life balance at Forter?
We work hard, but WLB is completely fair. You won't find the 12-hour workdays that startups are infamous for. We usually spend ~9 hoursa day in the office, with lots of flexibility. The focus is on effectiveness rather than hours. Parents get to leave early at least once a week, and as long as you make an impact nobody will ever look at your hours. Time off is respected and encouraged.
