Q&A With Forter Employees

Asked to all employees at Forter

  • Encourages innovation - if you have an idea, bring it up, and you'll usually be encouraged to try it out. If it doesn't work, you see what you can learn from that, and move on. If it does work, you get to see where you can take it next.

  • At Forter, no matter how smart you are (and you are), you have to love working with other people in order to succeed. The work, as well as the environment, is extremely collaborative, and we pride ourselves in our incredible teamwork. Besides that we believe in transparancy and open communication, we work hard, we give great service, and we try not to take ourselves too seriously, as you can see at www.forkerlabs.com.

  • Great guy with real vision. Used to be bad at transparency but he's really been working on that and it's improved a lot.

  • We work hard, but WLB is completely fair. You won't find the 12-hour workdays that startups are infamous for. We usually spend ~9 hoursa day in the office, with lots of flexibility. The focus is on effectiveness rather than hours. Parents get to leave early at least once a week, and as long as you make an impact nobody will ever look at your hours. Time off is respected and encouraged.
