What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

knows when to give space for the team to work on projects on their own

I really love the transparency. It really aids in overall morale knowing when things are going well and when things aren't. Keeping us in the loop allows us to see ourselves in our roles moving forward as the company grows.

It seems they have your best interests in mind.

The Leadership team is invested in employees' professional development. We have weekly check-ins and lots of opportunities to grow, even if promotions are not readily available.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

The leadership team could do more to facilitate growth for the employees they supervise. They could also spend more time listening to our needs and concerns. They tend to focus on small issues that we could solve ourselves rather than larger issues that impact the business.

Operations, management, communication, and strategic planning.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

Heavy emphasis on work/life balance. Very flexible vacation policy with tons of paid holidays plus option to occasionally work from home.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

Since the company isn't so big, employees do more than what is expected, but are not acknowledged for it. Compensation doesn't meet market/industry standards, including the additional work put in. Simply acknowledging and fairly paying employees for the work input would go a long way.

As a small company, vacation days and working from home seems rather reasonable. A lot of the staff here could and should be paid more. They would feel like the hard work they put in is fulfilling, to feel rewarded for their efforts and growth.

I work outside of work hours often, and don't feel I'll be able to get a raise any time soon, despite a full workload, growing responsibilities, and strong performance.

I don't feel that my work is undervalued by my colleagues, but that I'm not compensated at industry-standard rates.

Everyone works very hard and typically going above and beyond is the norm here. Our compensation does not necessarily reflect that.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

They are incredibly hardworking individuals that know more than they are acknowledged for.

Dedicated and hard working. Truly a team that's synchronized from beginning to end when working on projects together.

Everyone is really invested in the success of the whole team so people here work very well together. It's a super creative environment with truly wonderful people.

Wonderful, lively, creative, hardworking people who are a pleasure to work with and hang with

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

I think employees need to have a little more insight into how to properly structure meetings so they are the most effective. Often times meetings are unnecessary or too tangential that things don't get done.

It's like a high school lunchroom. There's clearly a divide between certain teams and people that it feels cliquey. Game Night works on some levels, but there should be more than just the Monthly Meeting (which usually gets cancelled) that involves the entire staff.

There could be better communication between departments.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

Moments that we are allowed to flex our muscles and given trust by those above us.

The people ere are very special that all bring something grand to the table

They hire nice people. We all work together to help each other succeed. There's a focus on nurturing a positive social environment.

Everyone really gets along for the most part. I also feel like everyone's voices can be heard. If anything there maybe should be a better way for ideas to be looked at.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

A simple “congratulations” goes a really long way sometimes, especially when you cons

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

It was relaxed, and allowed me to be my real self.

Very personable. I could tell they wanted someone good and hardworking, but also someone that they wanted to work with.

Was fair and honest, seemed pretty standard.

Warm, casual, and candid conversation

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

Positive performance, and certain coworkers.

Working with our awesome team

The possibilities for what we can accomplish and the hardworking staff. Whatever we have is due to the hard work put in by the employees. The company does not yet work autonomously, so everything we have is because of the hard work put in. Everyone's role is valuable, so that makes me happy.

I have a lot of opportunities to take ownership of my projects and create processes that work best for me. I've had micromanagers at other jobs and this is the opposite. I feel like my manager trusts me.

I love my coworkers, I love my work. Despite it's flaws this is the best workplace I've been a part of.
