It's been a good 24 years. I did leave briefly but came back. My biggest regret is not finishing college after I started knowing that the company does help with that.
What makes you most happy at work?
Some of the patients that I have gotten close too. The great compliments they give on the good care can really make a persons whole day.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work very well together. Our unit very rarely has any call ins or staff turn over. They are like my second family. Flint, MI is an awesome unit!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Monetary bonuses occasionally, maybe at Christmas times or throughout the year recognizing us for our hard work with patients. Patients can be hard to deal with on a daily basis and many of us have been here for years.
