The leadership is only focused on retaining students and money. They are not focused on education or developing talent. They rid the best instructors to bring in cheaper instructors. They have several state chairs that do not provide better curriculum, better education or anything.
They need to change the leadership. Some retirements and several staff are only interested in student retention and not how it happens. Build a quality product and be honest.
They need to be present and deal with the issues. The results of identifying improvement turns into reports that are not shared to protect their positions. Many excellent employees have left over the immoral practice. They need to improve the culture rather than their 2 slide presentations.
health insurance, retirement accounts and pension
it is ok, but could be better
The college has pinched instructor pay. One year there is inflation adjustments, then they back door layoff more experienced instructors to hire less expensive instructors. The class sizes can grow infinitely now. The best instructors are not kept. They build fake committees that rids best staff
There is some talent, but much has left as it has eroded.
Excellent collaboration and help. Once this moves into class assignment and decisions it is cut throat though.
There is too much jockiening for class. New instructors are not prepared and dont prepare. The staff does very little to help them. The staff is satisfied because they cost less. Not a functional operating model.
There needs to be less undercutting among leads with their adjuncts and with the adjuncts for positions. They state they respect quality and seniority, then complain about money. The students lose. Ultimately the college loses as their enrollment has dropped. They blame problems on CCCS sadly.

There used to be problems with a few of the leadership...Now the problem is all of the leadership. If there are proactive solutins and mentioned discussion of issues they will quickly blackball staff due to their huge insecurities. They are not competent.
There needs to be changes in leadership at all levels from President to VPs. Some of the deans only care about enrollment numbers no matter what the students do. Students are not getting employment much from this school due to poor performance.
We need new leadership. be honest who must design the course) and setup classes on time. New adjuncts come into situation and do not stay when the truth becomes clear. Students turning in material late earn their grade, but they complain and get their grade - feckless deans rollover on adjuncts.
It was comprehensive and student focused.
Interest in students and professional development.
They could get to know people and stop being so academic. Discuss the problems that will actually be addressed and stop the facade that there is so much student concern when there isnt by current leadership.
