How employees describe working at Frontier Airlines

There is no customer care or concern at Frontier. They will cancel a flight and no concern how you will get home just sorry and tell you they will put you on a flight in a week and offer a voucher for a future flight. I guess they think you can just sit in the airport for a week.

Yearly boost to salary is higher than most airlines.

  • Top Employee Response

Are you familiar with how poor the working conditions are here?

  • Horrible interviewers.... more concerned with how you look and your age. Young is better.

  • Advertised as flexible, but actually is very rigid and unpredictable. Negatively effects quality of life.

  • Not flexible at all. While WFH for my job would be very easy, it is frowned up to ask. Also, you work at 8, and don't even think about leaving before 6, even though you will eat lunch at your desk.

  • They asked me finance questions.... the position had NOTHING to do with finance.

  • Do you have applications in with other airlines? If yes, which ones? Are you aware that Frontier pats substantially less than those airlines? Why do you want to come to Frontier? (Note: these were all actual questions I received and exactly in that order).

    Business attire

  • A suit and a gullible look on your face. Don’t dare wear Delta colors. The entire point of the interview is to confirm you meet the minimums and then interrogate you to ensure you won’t be taking an interview with a Legacy carrier the moment you’ve finished IOE with an Airbus type rating. I’m not being sarcastic or embellishing facts; you’ll learn this is the unfortunate truth.

  • Interview was ok. But they were unprofessional and not on time.

  • Confusing because they mainly focus on their fear of you leaving for another company soon after learning that Frontier is a terrible company.

  • The only things they have innovated are new ways to cheat their employees out of compensation. That’s not a joke.

Asked to all employees at Frontier Airlines

  • Don’t attempt to work here. The majority of employees here are trying to find their way out of this dumpster fire.

Asked to all employees at Frontier Airlines

  • Hard to imagine how morale could be any lower. Maybe if the company were laying off everyone on short notice, it could be lower than it is now. The company is wildly profitable and provides the worst pay, benefits, and working conditions in the airline industry. So it isn’t hard to understand how we lead the industry with the lowest moral.
