Great store leader and district leader
It is easy to work with everyone
how helpful they are with everything
Immediate leaders are good but executive leaders are not experienced to handle GameStop challenging situations
I like my manager, but everyone else is just too harsh, and extremely mean to their employees. They call them replaceable, etc.
Treatment for infertility was covered.
I can get money for doing what i love
I get Free health insurance.

Some work harder than the manager
We're all nerds and geeks of some kind
Very smart, creative, hardworking people.
Good and chill people, talking about games
Theyre interesting to work with
Games, collectibles, and geeky environment
We all embraced diversity. It was amazing to interact with all different walks of life, and even give them a safe place. I had lots of regulars because of this opportunity.
The people who work there love video games, its fun to go in and work with someone who shares same interests but theres never enough hours to allow extra coverage so getting to know your coworker is just about a thing of the past
My team minus our manager. When she's not there everything runs smoothly and no one is stressed out at all. People come in and we all get to share our collective interests and be among like-minded people.
My co workers and our teams
I got to actually be myself
My boss asked me to tell my story. About why I was there, my motives, and why I'd make a good fit. It was very touching and personal, because I really thought I was cared about in that moment.
With the previous manager it was like talking to a regular person. We laughed, we had a good time, and honestly it was one of my better experiences with interviews.
The interview process is fine.
It was short sweet and simple and straight forward questions and great transparency
The new inventory & consules i see on average shift
I get to be around my kind of people
The team members are great to work with
Geting to just interact with customers about video games and random events in the local area helps to know your customer base
Discussing games and having the items our guests want to buy
I like that with the right manager and team you can move up, you are valued, have a work-life balance and enjoy coming to work. GameStop is fast-paced which is also fun at times.
