Great store leader and district leader
It is easy to work with everyone
how helpful they are with everything
Immediate leaders are good but executive leaders are not experienced to handle GameStop challenging situations
I like my manager, but everyone else is just too harsh, and extremely mean to their employees. They call them replaceable, etc.
Caring for the employees overall
The manager needs to do her schedule better for assistant managers make too many hours and too many days to the point of exhaustion.
Increased Communication, leading by example,
I believe that the leadership, in my team at least, needs to get better at communication.
Empathy and connecting with their employees. Instead of viewing everyone as a number making genuine connections and understanding employees would lead to more motivation and loyalty from employees.
Treatment for infertility was covered.
I can get money for doing what i love
I get Free health insurance.

The best part about the compensation package is the discount that we get on games and merch

They cut most benefits and raises don't happen, if they do it is literally crumbs you won't notice.
Better pay, incentives to push for pro signups/ warranties
Being paid more and being offered paid time off.
I pulled a lot of weight for the store and had great performance numbers, but we were getting paid less than 10 dollars an hour. Better hours and obviously better pay.
I feel undervalued because of the amount of money I get paid for the amount of work. 10 dollars an hour does not cut it, when I can be working at Walmart, making 14-16 an hour and doing less work without harsh Quotas.
Some work harder than the manager
We're all nerds and geeks of some kind
Very smart, creative, hardworking people.
Good and chill people, talking about games
Theyre interesting to work with
I believe that my team needs better communication
My guys literally make up fake rules about "Pawn Law" even though no one's ever read that, to decline trades they don't wanna take

They could learn not to berate customers and other workers

To stop blaming each other when they personally mess up. It never goes any where due to this.

Coworkers are doing fine it's the management that needs to be replaced

Games, collectibles, and geeky environment
We all embraced diversity. It was amazing to interact with all different walks of life, and even give them a safe place. I had lots of regulars because of this opportunity.
The people who work there love video games, its fun to go in and work with someone who shares same interests but theres never enough hours to allow extra coverage so getting to know your coworker is just about a thing of the past
My team minus our manager. When she's not there everything runs smoothly and no one is stressed out at all. People come in and we all get to share our collective interests and be among like-minded people.
My co workers and our teams
Better communication, less directive focus on statistics and more towards sales. Equal shift coverage
If the company would stop ripping off consumers

company culture could be improved with maybe some respect

Everything I need to completely rework the company new leadership

lift people up, we are doing a good job and treating customers great. Management treats us like we are the worst employees ever

I got to actually be myself
My boss asked me to tell my story. About why I was there, my motives, and why I'd make a good fit. It was very touching and personal, because I really thought I was cared about in that moment.
With the previous manager it was like talking to a regular person. We laughed, we had a good time, and honestly it was one of my better experiences with interviews.
The interview process is fine.
It was short sweet and simple and straight forward questions and great transparency
bro im only here to talk about how badly employees are getting treated here
The interview was 5 questions, and I was almost instantly hired because they had no one else to fill the position. They were desperate enough to basically skip common interview questions
interview process doesn't really matter much

It was very long and very boring and I do not like my manager

The new inventory & consules i see on average shift
I get to be around my kind of people
The team members are great to work with
Geting to just interact with customers about video games and random events in the local area helps to know your customer base
Discussing games and having the items our guests want to buy
there are corrupt managers and upper managers in this company and this needs to get fixed as soon as possible
Stop investing in stupid things, invest in your employees, and offer a unique expeirence
Time to expunge narcissistic leaders that tell you to remember GAME: Greet. Ask Customer helpful questions, Make suggestions, explain the products just to get on your case for taking time to explain a product, for me its been cosoles and online purchase options to the very custromers we GAME to.

Not challenged at all. I don't do what my job title actually says and my past experience is not used in any way.
Stop outsourcing IT to India. HR needs to follow up on store complaints and take action.
I like that with the right manager and team you can move up, you are valued, have a work-life balance and enjoy coming to work. GameStop is fast-paced which is also fun at times.
