GE Appliances, a Haier company Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

401k match is pretty good

401K Company Contribution and Match

Review from Engineering Dept

During Covid, our HR team gave us a lot of flexibikity to work ftom home or come in when we needed to, without becoming legalistc about it (e.g like odd/even days in office). On the bad side, CVS pharmacy benefits are lousy - we've had to change medications 4 times when they stopped coverage.

401k match is the best

My health plan is awesome for my family and I.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I need this job helping me with my phone contact info

GE Appliances has a very competitive compensation system.

Review from Operations Dept

It's a good place to work.

Knowing that I put in a good hard days work each and every day to take care of our customers

Bonuses and full benefits raises

I haven't looked the through out the package just yet

Review from Product Dept

The benefits that are given

Maybe the Health insurance is alright?

401K is one of the richest in the industry. We also have an extremely generous employee discount program.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Other manufacturers pay better and then to give a three year contract with only 6% total raises when inflation this year is over 8. We are making less money

2 more dollars an hour would make the pay worth the effort.

New hires can miss and go over 7points and they will bend over backwards to keep them a 20yr employee hits 7 hes gone. We need better pay better insurance and a pension. This place could careless about employees and there family's PERIOD

Review from Product Dept

We are very much undervalued at GE Appliances.

Review from Customer Support Dept

One dishwasher cost more than I make in a week. Wages should be increased. I'm not greedy, but I'm also not seeing the benefit of working to build something that I can't afford

Review from Product Dept

I'm paid about 10% under, even after adjusting for area.

No appreciation from Mgmt. Unless you do things their way you are wrong. They pay for Yes people.

I am paid less than other people for the same job. The history of our entire country stands on the belief that we are all created equal. It has caused me major problems to work for a so-called competitive wage. It took years for people to negotiate a good wage here. Change needs to be made.

Review from Operations Dept

We've had 2 30 cent raises in the last 4 years and no cost of living increases while our insurance and deductibles have skyrocketed. We need regular raises plus cost of living increases.

Review from Operations Dept

Havent had a raise in 6 years. Insurance keeps going up and pay stays the same.

Review from Product Dept

We worked during covid19 to make household appliances. Not ventilators or masks. Appliances.
