Treating workers like human beings. At least acting like they care. Be as quick to reward as they are at disciplining. Show a little appreciation every now and then. And most important...be fair.
I purchased refrigerator and it is not performing well. I've reached out to GE and they have sent a tech 2Xs. I was told there is nothing than can be done to correct the issue. I'm disgusted with GE.
Listening to their employees and change their terrible attitudes
Communication, skills , work ethics and listening. Management only cares about a number and they will run bad units to get that number. They will work you 7days a week. They dont know how to keep the place running. We run out of parts constantly and machines go down daily that they cant fix

Other manufacturers pay better and then to give a three year contract with only 6% total raises when inflation this year is over 8. We are making less money
2 more dollars an hour would make the pay worth the effort.
New hires can miss and go over 7points and they will bend over backwards to keep them a 20yr employee hits 7 hes gone. We need better pay better insurance and a pension. This place could careless about employees and there family's PERIOD

We are very much undervalued at GE Appliances.

One dishwasher cost more than I make in a week. Wages should be increased. I'm not greedy, but I'm also not seeing the benefit of working to build something that I can't afford

coming to work and do your job correctly stay off your cell phones
Actually show up for work and take care of the customer and fix the appliances

My coworkers are not the problem. The division in pay has driven us apart. It's not jealousy or envy. We can't relate to each other, we can't form friendships, and we can't have the same hobbies. The difference in pay is the problem!!!
Review from Operations Dept
More employee respect would go a long way
Replace YES managers with managers that know the business.
The company needs to see the value in unity, pay everyone who does the same work, the same amount of pay, and set the priorities on quality rather than quantity. The way things are set up causes people not to care about their job, causes depression, and creates products that are substandard.
Review from Operations Dept
Not owned by a foreign company. Managers who have worked production need to be hired

Be less focused on diversity. We are passing up good peopke becaise they dont check the right diversity boxes.
Not schedule the last 1.5 hours to be videos.
Manager not flexible. You do things their way or you can find the highway and a new job
There is a lot of history that has proven what is being done wrong by this company. You can't expect to come into the United States of America, create division among the employees, and expect to succeed. Pay your employees and give them 100% insurance!

It is so top heavy with so many corporate people just standing around watching. There is a constant change of leadership and they try the same things that didn't work for the last person. I've been in my section for 8 years but my knowledge and experience doesn't matter when trying to solve problems
