General Dynamics Information Technology Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Bonus and additional discounts and support for employees.

The health insurance benefits are good.

401K has a 4% match

Ample time off and maxi-flex/telework schedule, combined with bonuses and sizable yearly increases above the normal cost of living index.

Salary is good for my current position

Paid time off, medical leave if needed, 401k it's awesome

Day-care assistances and reimbursement of travel

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Benefits are garbage. Instead of worrying anout "gender" nonsense, give people adequate health insurance.

Benefits are bottom of the barrel. Token employees with no experience ger top dollar while experienced people are demoted. Its a socual ecperiment, not a business.

Full transparency for all salaries

This company needs to improve greatly at taking care of their employees and stop paying them lip service.

I would like to have paid federal holidays and some paid vacation. I get neither.

it's difficult not to feel undervalued when there are people who have the same number of hours a day as I that are getting the equivalent of 2 to 3 times my salary as a bonus. Especially if their bonus is based upon the customer's satisfaction with my efforts.

Getting paid No communication / lack of respect

Last year because the FL manager was too lazy to evaluate each individual, he gave a blanket 1% raise to everyone. Those that worked harder were ignored and those that couldn't be bothered got the same raise.

Based on the generic position descriptions associated with the job when I started compensation was fair. After 2+ years of working there and understanding more about the contract and what is expected of me and compared to other positions with other companies on site we are paid some of the lowest.

paid 20% more than I made last year

Health benefits are weak compared to rest of DC Fortune 100 and gov't contractor market.
