Knowledgeable interviewers, after initial phone and chat
Very laid back and very though
Interviewing with multiple people in separate sessions made the interview personal. I have done interviews infront of a panel which does not feel personal.
It was too long ago to remember but back then I'd say being a 3rd generation auto worker may have had an advantage.

We learn things about general motors.
That it was straightforward and very easy.
It was an average interview process. I was happy to be hired!
It felt pretty standard. No complaints. If anything it made me look back at my prior work experieneces and wonder if I was mistreated at previous jobs.
The interview was done remotely
Roles should be aligned with the job description.

Get away from outside venders screening candidates.
To meet the people you want to hire
It was a joke now that I look back on it. They told me everything I wanted to hear. I fell for it hook line and sinker, I was young and had a new family to take care of. I don't think they are capable of improving they need to be truthful.
Review from Engineering Dept
Clarity about the career or position
the recruitment process needs to be systemized and standards need to be clarified
Review from HR Dept
Managers have no idea if candidates are qualified. They're just guessing and estimating based off generic factors.
Review from IT Dept
Give more difficult technical interview questions
Review from IT Dept
Not use an outside company to find referrals.
