because we are small, I really feel like we know each other and are invested in each other's successes

They are all incredibly helpful. There isn't a sense of ego, or pride, but rather a willingness to help everyone succeed.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel undervalued, but given our mostly flat hierarchy, it will be a challenge in the future to progress in the role without additional responsibilities
