Really positive I hear from people working at other companies working +60 hours, while an occasional week or two a year you will probably get up there it is not the norm. There definitely a clear understanding of work hours and personal time outside of work.

  • Good, I have been with the company for a few months now and I have yet to work a significant amount of overtime in a given week. There are also a lot of at-work social events and opportunities. The PTO amounts leave something to be desired, but I'm looking forward to my first holiday shutdown over Christmas and New Years.

  • I think we (GMR) have great work-life balance, however the challenge becomes when your CLIENT doesn't necessarily have that balance. In that case, it's encouraged to have a discussion with your clients to set a better understanding of how/when it's best to communicate.

Overall positive view, Cameron is pretty transparent on what is going on with the company as a whole, excluding sensitive information for higher level employees. Wish we kept the old layout for desks, since now we are more out in the open with less privacy and sickness seems to travel easier.

  • Cameron tries to be very transparent and accessible. He gives quarterly updates on the business and regularly attends social events. He seems to be well respected by just about everyone.

  • try to communicate with whole company and open to socializing within and outside the company

Fits to the motto of work hard, play hard. Everyone works to get projects done on time even with last minute changes from clients. But the culture also encourages people to enjoy the life beyond the typical work hours, such as blood drives, after work parties, charity events, etc.
