As a sales team they work in unison rather than truly competing against each other. It's not cut throat like many sales teams
We all genuinely get along. We're all here to support each other and actively ensure that no one is left overwhelmed. Everyone likes to reach out to help each other so that GoCo can prosper.
Working with my GoCo colleagues is like working with friends. Everyone is welcoming and nice, and you actually look forward to going to the office. We also have remote colleagues that come to the office now and then just because they enjoy being around the team.
GoCo has one of the best teams I've ever worked with. I recently had to relocate for my wife's job and now 'electively' commute back every couple of weeks just so I can be a part of the company environment.
All willing to work together to accomplish the same goal of providing the best service to our clients.
We all respect each other and have a healthy culture (no gossip, cliques, etc.). The office is a place we can all interact and feel comfortable expressing concerns or asking for help.
We are committed to improving our processes in a way that impacts the other teams in the office, as well as the customer. It's a "better for everyone" mindset that aims to improve the experience for both those working at the company and the people that we serve.
It feels like a team environment
The team is very talented and is able to accomplish a lot with very few members. We're able to build and deliver features within weeks compared to the 1+ years that most larger companies take. The small size and high talent of our team sets GoCo apart.
They are the kind of people that you want to hang out with after work hours and on the weekend. In fact, I do. It's a sibling-best friend type of relationship with respect, great collaboration, and the same goal.
