The family like feeling among the team.
at godaddy they actually listen to you and make changes based on your feedback.
We do a good job of promoting good communication and support among my particular team.
Occasionally we're able to make a real impact on the success of a customer's business. That's always a great feeling. Especially when it's a small business.
The recent changes that are occurring are creating an overwhelming feeling among most employees that GoDaddy has shifted from caring about its employees to caring about the shareholders first, customers second, and the employees that serve those customers last.
Not sweeping employee feedback under the rug. Most decisions are made that dramatically change and affect the work culture and we're told to simply "adapt" but when "adapting" costs us our job security, bonuses, etc. it becomes detrimental to our health and any semblance of work/life balance.
GoDaddy claims to care about our opinions and feedback but it feels like it's normally only to be able to say publicly that they make changes based on our feedback. In truth, very few employee concerns actually end up enacting any amount of change. In general we feel nothing less than expendable.
