Goodyear Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

New Plant Manager is top notch but can only do so much before getting put back i to his place if not making quotas

Communication and safety first conversation

Supportive of associate's personal and career growth

Try to make job not so bad

Friendly and knowledgeable, teamwork, leadership

Open communication and willingness to be open to new ideas

Leaders are getting better about being more visible to employees and answering our questions

Pretty laid back atmosphere here

Support and knowledge. All Goodyear people in leadership position came up the ranks.

Review from Operations Dept

For a small shop its not bad, itd organized

They are Company first decision making.

Transparency and communication right through all levels

Review from Operations Dept

I was a team member with the company for a short period of time and believe I would need more time to have accurate assessment thay I believe would be helpfull and productive But I think that 8n the time I was there that the leadership team had a great handle on the overall fundamentals of leadershi

Review from Marketing Dept

Fair and respectful to all employees. Leave room for mistakes and learning.

Review from Sales Dept

Work as a team but like all leadership teams there is a disconnect on what middle management and below need to be successful.

Review from Product Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

communication, alignment and leadership, involment

Comunication with all team members

Change the culture. Be fair. End the good old boy club. Hire based on skill, qualifications and ability not relationships and comfort.

Coming to the floor and asking operator what they could do to make our jobs better and more efficient.

Everything. They cant schedule or do pay roll

They are not about the employees, they are all about their own pockets. They don't care about the chemical division just the tire division.

Review from Engineering Dept

Doing their jobs and helping where it

Review from Operations Dept

Leadership in general. No pm program and we build exactly what we need without allowing for waste.

Review from Engineering Dept

Communication with associates. And they also need to learn what actually makes there business work!

Review from Sales Dept

Company morale they do nothing for there employees, and better pay..there way below the average pay in my area..can't keep good people..good people cost money, goodyear is to cheap.

Review from Sales Dept

The flow of the plant.

Review from Product Dept

Communication and treating all employees fairly and equally

Review from Operations Dept

Listening to us about working together

Review from Product Dept

Humble themselves, listen to the voice of the experts, those that have the expertise to turn around poor performing plants like Danville. Vice President of Americas Operations uses threats and intimidation as motivators while HR leaders look the other way. Develop more leaders instead of managers.

Listen to YOUR employees! Just because a certain program works in a certain culture does not mean it works everywhere.

Review from Operations Dept

Stop making snap decisions for field employees without talking to somebody who has actually worked in a retail store.

Review from Sales Dept

How to hire better help, instead of young kids who work slow to make a paycheck

Review from Sales Dept

Communication around the plant on what's going on.

Review from Product Dept

Communication between the managers and front office

Review from Operations Dept

Properly delegating tasks, communication with employees.
