He also serves as Chief Finance Officer at Grand Canyon University. Mr. Bachus served as the Chief Financial Officer for Loreto Bay Company from January 2007 to June 2008. He served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Apollo Group, Inc., and the parent company of the University of Phoenix from August 2000 to November 8, 2006. From 1992 to 2000, He served at Deloitte & Touche LLP and served as its Audit Senior Manager. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Arizona and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
