Stylists who follow the great clips 5 steps to customer care and Stylists that want to work can succeed. Meaning showing up early, promptly taking haircuts, willing to come in early/stay late as business needs, covers shifts for other stylists minimally calling off shifts, consistently having great customer service and consistently giving great quality haircuts, and stylists who educate their clients to fulfill clients hair care needs. A busy location also really help. If a stylist isn't willing to be and do most of these things then a stylist isn't going to be as successful as they would if they gave it their all. Could A stylist skate by doing only some of these? Yes, but if a stylist is willing to work hard and do your job consistently well, you will make that money and can be very successful.

There is a wide range of diversity with Great Clips. Great Clips is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate. As long as you have a valid hair license for the state you are in and can physically do the job requirements and can provide two types of ID there should be no problems getting hired at Great Clips. The diversity seen within the company speaks for itself.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Great Clips Inc.?
It would have been nice to know that some franchises have very limited and strict appearance guidelines, while others follow the Great Clips standards but aren't near as strict. For example one franchise only let's you wear black bottoms with a solid colored top, no patterns and no visible tattoos or bright hair, where another franchise allows any colors or patterns that are professional and neat and allow any hair color that's styled and professional and don't make the stylist cover their tattoos.
How's the morale at Great Clips Inc.?
If the Great Clips Salon is following the Great Clips vision and brand the morale is great. All too often there will be clicks or a lazy manager and instead of the Great Clips way its more like in the car out of the car with questionable morale.
