Review from Engineering Dept
speed up process in compensation adjustment based on market, performance bonus.
Review from Engineering Dept
With the official annual inflation rate of 8.6%, indexing the salary to the inflation rate would be the bare minimum.
Review from Engineering Dept
There is no clarity in terms of level, and compensation is way under market value. New hires at Groq are getting better packages. I understand we pay contractor companies a higher price, but I earn even much less than contractors that do not have as much breadth and depth of experience as I do.
Review from Engineering Dept
someone has been dragging their feet on pay increase roll out because of inflation. useful benefits are paltry
Review from Engineering Dept

Review from Engineering Dept
Several of them are very resistive to changes. And several of them work in silos, thinking about their teams more than Groq's success.
Review from Engineering Dept
There are few opportunities for spontaneous interaction, which leaves little room for bonding.

Review from Engineering Dept
growth mindset, willingness to accept where we can improve, openness to hear employee concerns and thoughts/ideas.
Review from Engineering Dept
More transparency, encourage enthusiasm and curiosity. Hire smart people and support their initiatives.
Review from Engineering Dept
Let the engineering decisions be driven by engineers and with clear and able ownership. To make a single change, we have to convince 30 different people. We lack agility while competing with companies known for speed of light execution.
Review from Engineering Dept
Being more focused on 2-3 goals which everyone can align to as a company; not 16+. Pivoting from being internally focused (Clan oriented; decision by committee) to externally focused (market driven; customer oriented).
Review from Engineering Dept
There's no incentive to do the boring-but-valuable engineering work. I noticed no one seemed to care about it, and my feedback improved when I stopped doing it because it's easy to get stuff done when you don't care about tech debt.
Review from Engineering Dept
The question are not limit to technique, every interviewer has his/her own topic to focus on which could see all of the aspects of candidates

Review from Engineering Dept
Our management seems to have more faith in Cadence or GUC than engineers we hired. Culture is very bureaucratic.
Review from Engineering Dept
I am finding the remote-work environment very isolating.
Review from Engineering Dept
What’s wrong: Too many meetings. Decisions by committee that never seem to stick. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Not execution minded. How can it be improved: Reduce goals to a 2-3 and align the entire company behind it. Be more decisive and
Review from Engineering Dept
Lots of tech debt, infra is completely overwhelmed, documentation is usually out of date, testing is almost always inadequate. We are incentivized to work on shiny, new things over boring-but-valuable engineering work (test coverage, documentation, code reuse, etc.)
Review from Engineering Dept
Have more customer proof points that show real value that actually drives customer spending. Once that has been done, have a compelling roadmap and a plan to execute on that post haste.
