I love working here. The attitude is amazing, as are the people. I feel very supported and am often encouraged to step outside of my comfort zone and explore different areas of the company. It's such a great place to work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The communication! My boss and teammates are very clear with their lines of communication. We work hard to ensure we're all on the same page and to ensure everyone feels valued and safe in the workplace and on our team.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people! There's a very open and supportive culture at Groq. Whether you're in the office or not, it makes me feel so happy and excited to be able to not only work with such intelligent people, but also such kind people.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't necessarily feel undervalued! I do feel valued by my team. I feel that I could be compensated more monetarily but also understand that the company is a start up so they do have to be cognizant and somewhat frugal sometimes.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I really like that they aren't afraid to communicate with folks outside the leadership team. They don't just keep things amongst themselves and have each respective leader trickle messages down to their teams - they're very involved with everyone across the board which is great.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The attitude! When I started at Groq, many people went out of their way to introduce themselves to me and set up coffee chats with me to get to know me. I've never seen that at a company before but I thought it was so special and welcoming. A great first impression for sure.
