Out of 86 Hach employee reviews, 67% were positive. The remaining 33% were constructive reviews with the goal of helping Hach improve their work culture.
Integrity and passion for developing talent.
Constant turnover and lack of stability within leasership.
Middle management has the experience they need to drive results and keep employees happy. Upper management has limited to no sales experience and makes that painfully obvious throughout their decision making. Company bottom line has taken precedent over customer and employee satisfaction.
good people with excellent leadership
Nothing. They are hypocrites and liars
Communication, training, leadership. Policies and follow through.
Leading. Communicating. Doing their job.
True authenticity- not pretending but still playing their games
Standing up for what's right
Leadership and Management are two different things. There are very few Leaders at Hach but lots of Managers who continue to look at spreadsheets for the magic answer and how to run things. Get your noses out of the spreadsheets and talk to people, walk around and get to know your people.
Consistency is key. We are steady.
The best part was the equity compensation.
The best part WAS to blow quote out and pick up multipliers. One could easily make 30% additional income by working hard and blowing out quota. They stripped that earning potential away, so the motivating features of the compensation package is null and there is no longer incentive to over produce
Vacation time is good overall
It’s fair and they have been flexib
Over worked. Under paid. Hach does not value human capital
Lack of support, cliques and poor leadership.
Salary is very good, but other compensations could be better. But salary is very good.
I have worked in my area for a long time. You are penalized for working in the same area for a long time salary wise. This says you are taken for granted. You should be rewarded for finding the area you fit with best and for staying there.
If you are not part of management you are not paid fairly. The longer you stay in one position, the further behind you get in regards to salary.
Highly self aware and thriving for improvement
My team works hard but knows when they've earned a break. Our manager encourages us to succeed while clearing the path for our success. The team has no reason to complete internally, so it's a partnership among my colleagues like no other.
Hard to say nothing special
My direct team is just that- a team that works together as a team.
excellent coworks that work hard
Do the actual work they are hired to do
Needs to be more flexibility and innovative. Managers need to breakdown walls not build them up. My coworkers and I are just going through the motions with little motivation or support.
Process oriented and less blame than in other places
People care genuinly and HR is supporting.
The best thing about my work is my team and manager.
The most positive thing is working with my co workers. The negativity comes from high management that makes decisions that are best for them rather than their employees.
The best thing is working for my manager and being able to work remotely. The culture coming from top leadership is not positive. They have shown they do not care about employees and they do not practice what they preach about diversity and inclusion.
Get actual qualified people at the top instead of idiots
They need to follow their own diversity and inclusion policies
Leadership needs to change! And stronger policies around conflicts of interest.
Stop finger pointing culture and work as a team.
Building is old but being upgraded. Need to get people the right equipment and desk space for what they do. More lighting, space, and cleaner looking areas with updated furniture and colors.
Same as any other large corporation. Its a very comprehensive interview process.
I clicked with all the people and there were multiple interviews with different people from different functions and countries.
many different interviews with different people
Professionalism and best team spirit that used to exist. Been there over 20 yrs, but the leadership has ruined what Kitty and Clifford created!
Follow up and quick decision
Speed. It took weeks to get a response.
Not being remote but in person communication.
People who have passion for saving our planer
My customers and colleagues. There is a pride in representing Hach.
It used to be lunches and some team mates
Coworkers and relationships . Nothing about leadership!
People who work at Hach for long time
Supply chain issues and political edicts about conditions of employment are what is wrong with this company.
Management needs to learn to be leaders. Travel policy needs changed for frequent flyers. Work/Life balance needs to be forefront. Give right compensation and time off for those that work well over 40hrs/wk. Give recognition to people doing good work.
