
Coworkers need to improve attendance, cleanliness, speed, and honestly coming to work lucid. Coworkers need to be fully trained before allowing to work, and they need to work on hygiene and friendliness as well as just overall customer service.
They need to work on controlling their idea of profits over labor cost. They need to loosen the reigns and allow more employees to work on the team together to make the work flow more consistent and expedient for customers.
The store is understaffed. Management wants a labor cost of 10-15% versus 10 years ago when it was 30%. They are not offering raises or extra hours, the store doesn't close when weather and highways are shutdown, there is no bonus or review process, and everyone is angry all the time.
I have often been promised raises but in five years, I have not received one other than minimum wage increases in my state. I have improved my certifications and skills without any compensation. I am offered to do more work, but then it is frequently and nearly always edited in some manner.
There needs to be unpaid training and screeners. All previous employers need to be called or schools and teachers if it's a highschool student. We need a contract that we can fire for any reason in 3 months without punishment of unemployment benefits blow back. Need to let go for non attendance.
