Harris Teeter Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Medical insurance have options .

401K match, long-term and short-term insurance company paid.

The award for working with the company.

The pension that they provide

Well, if I were to compare my compensation package to my last job in tech? It would be a massive let down. After all, I went from $180K to $18 an hour. However, for the industry I am in I will say it is a fair wage based off my current demographic cost of living.

It is significantly less expensive to have great benefits in comparison to other companies.

Its not expensive at all!

Paid time off and profit sharing

the bonus checks every 6 months

Health benefits is the best part

The 401K matching is great.

Bonus and Heath insurance and 401k plan

401k matching/auto enrollment of 6%

The conversation package is very well put together the best part of a family and concern for those involved

401k and the health benefits

Inwould paid more monwy for better dental benefits. Also employees that love farther then 20 min from the store ahould get a monthly gas offset pay. I live over an hour away and half my weekly check pays for gas and only gas

Ha being the 401K thing is nice

Benefit pay is good. I think bonus should be svailable after 90 days of employment in a ratio by days employed (reduced benefit). You work hard in those 3 months

Free eye insurance and dental is nice

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If i got paid for the work i do.

For myself its too late. Im ready to hang it up with harris teeter and do something else.

They need to revisit their pay scale. The healthcare packages they offer are high priced snd inadequate

Yes. I do so much each time I work. I get yelled out for the simplest things. Not enough pay. People leaving left and right.

It frels like a lit of responsibility for customer service clerks for the pay. I love the grocery business and working here. Just hoping I can pay my bills on what I make. I took a peap from a high paying job wherebi was unhappy to lower pay to be happy.

Review from Customer Support Dept

higher wages would make me feel like im being valued for my work

pay me a competitive rate and cut out the smoke and mirrors regarding how my bonus is calculated.

I feel undervalued because no one ever ever gives you any kind of positive feedback is always negative

I'm closing alot by myself I should get $5 more they leave sanwhich and pizza station filthy chicken guy leaves rotisserie and fryers for night person bakery clean out donut clean trays trash clean floors day people don't do anything.

Pay doesnt even come close to providing an appropriate cost of living for where you live. Very very small raises. Expect your soul.

Operate in integrity and pay the new minimum wage amount with the annual bonus.

Review from Product Dept

I need to speak to someone directly over the phone about this.

More pay for the amount of work or better health insurance options

Managers only complain about things that go wrong they never oraise for all that you do to make the company money. Management also talks about associTes with other associTes

I work very hard to keep the store going. I come in on days off very often. I go out of my way all the time to make things work and am rarely ever thanked for it. I feel like if im picking up more jobs because someone is out, I should be compensated for it. Many employees feel that way.

There is way too much stress for the little amount of money we make

Id love the opportunity to speak with their legal team

Once i graduated from my training to be an assistant dept. manager, there should be a raise. your not as responsible for the dept. when training as to when you become an actual assistant manager

Review from Customer Success Dept

Of course, everyone in my department feels undervalued. We are being pay way under fair market price. This is one of the main reason i just quit, the other main reason is managers don't help out regardless how busy or understaff we are.

I work very hard for terrible compensation.
