How employees describe working at HealthStream
Customers and colleagues are great. As a public company, we must always chase higher profits, to the detriment of R&D and existing products. Product portfolio is expansive yet constantly growing/changing.
I’m frustrated by poor management and lack of respect. Also, misinformation spread instead of help given is gross.
Fair compensation and health benefits that are less like penalties.
HealthStream has been a good company to call home for many years. However the culture of the company has started to change over the last few years and it is no longer a place i can see myself staying for much longer.
Challenging, often rewarding, always hoping, and often stressful. I took a large pay cut to come to the company because I wanted a smaller company and to have my own team. I've gotten those things but was not allowed to grow my own team (I inherited a team that was not qualified). Challenging.
